Primary and Middle School Curriculum

In all British schools, one of the terms you'll hear most often during your child's education is "key stage." Primary and Middle-schools schools providing British curriculum offer education to pupils on Key Stage 1, 2 and 3 levels. As one of the very few reasonably priced private schools in Bahrain offering British curriculum, New Generation Private School welcomes students on EYFS, Key-Stage 1, Key-Stage 2 and 3 levels.

Each key stage consists of a certain range of school years. There is more than one year in a key stage, they are grouped as follows:

  • Early Years Foundation Stage: Ages 3-5 (Nursery, KG-1 and KG-2)
  • Key Stage 1: Ages 5-7 (Year 1 - 2)
  • Key Stage 2: Ages 7-11 (Years 3 - 6)
  • Key Stage 3: Ages 11-14 (Years 7 – 9

Math & Science

Singapore Math and Science have been widely recognized as superior to other programs, with their incorporation into primary school curriculums across the world. The Singaporean approach emphasizes problem-solving and reasoning skills, which leads to deeper comprehension of mathematical and scientific concepts.

Core subjects are English, Science and Mathematics while foundation subjects are Social Studies, Art, Music, Physical Education, Information Technology, Islamic, Arabic, French and Life Skills. Islamic education and Arabic classes are not only subjected to Arab and Muslim students. Non-Arab parents who are muslims and non-muslim parents can also request their child to take Islamic class if they wish to.

Life skills class which is equivalent to PSHE in UK schools is embedded in our curriculum and it is fully aligned with Islamic and Bahraini law and customs.
