From North West England. I believe that learning is based on mutual respect between staff, students and parents within an inclusive community where everyone is a valued member of the school community. Promotion of high expectations and a love of learning are engendered by an inquisitive, investigative, questioning curiosity that will be developed in children across all key stages and in all subjects in our school. I obtained my teaching qualification (B.Ed) from Liverpool University, followed by a Masters’ Degree from the University of Lancaster and a Doctorate in Education from Liverpool John Moores University. I have over 25 years teaching experience as a teacher, Deputy Head teacher and Head teacher working in schools in five different areas of England. I have also led and managed two large departments in two different Universities in England and been Principal of two different schools in Abu Dhabi, one school in Egypt and Kuwait prior to arriving in Bahrain
With more than 15 years of teaching and management roles in Bahrain and overseas, Carlo is adept in curriculum and materials development, testing, training design, implementation, supervision and evaluation. Education’s ultimate goal is to effect change on the mind, character and physical ability of a learner. This statement has etched an indelible and deeply profound mark on my recent career choices and philosophy which I envision NGPS in the very near future.
